Like yesterday we had Vivian Lee, Elyas Khan as guests, plus Romain Vincente (on snare) and Johannes Leis (on sax) We all were joined by Frank “El” Schneider and Hanna Schneider for the closing parade of the Tamtatusch Marching Band.

With Melissa Khan as our queen, we celebrated:

We drive from Rietberg to Berlin. Meanwhile Meduli in Berlin …

… starts setting up the lights at the Kesselhaus.

Energy energy ENERGY 

We asked both of them to be part of our Hippie Haus Tanz show on December 29th. They both said yes.

Bettina Wauschke (tuba), Jakob Ilja (electric guitar), Elyas Khan (percussion), Gregor Fuhrmann (cello) and myself on guitar just finished recording “Deine Tränen” for the Metamorphosis project.

It’s the first time any of us has played together! Spending a day in the studio trying to find “our” sound was a challenge in itself … and well worth it!

Back in Berlin, I go down to the old NALEPA studios to meet Elyas Khan.

He has started to work on “Solitaire”. I love talking music with this guy, he’s so full of ideas, stories, tunes and philosophy, he is as close to a Gesamtkunstwerk as one can get … check out his mixing desk!
